Dr. Kate Harrigan
Chiropractor, BSc.

Kate's interest in chiropractic began through her experience with the Westshore Rugby Club, where a practicum during her undergrad provided her with firsthand exposure to chiropractic care and its role in supporting health, movement, and recovery. This experience sparked her interest in the profession and ultimately led her to pursue a career in chiropractic. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Kinesiology from the University of Victoria and a Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.

Having grown up as a swimmer and diver, Kate developed an early appreciation for the importance of movement and how the body adapts to the demands we place on it. While her background in athletics has shaped her interest in movement and biomechanics, she enjoys working with people of all ages and activity levels and helping them reach the goals that are important to them.

Dr. Harrigan takes an individualized approach to care, recognizing that every patient and every body is different. Her goal is to help patients better understand their bodies, address the factors contributing to their concerns, and develop practical, evidence-based strategies to support their health and the activities they enjoy.

Originally from British Columbia, Dr. Harrigan is excited to be back home and working with the Saanichton community. Outside of the clinic, Kate enjoys spending time outdoors, is an avid reader, and loves spending time with her dog.
